Within GroundControl, chatbots are the ones who can bring a script to the right participant. A script is a collection of texts, photos and videos and is always linked to a chatbot.
A chatbot is the element that can deliver a script to a channel. In that regard, you can see a chatbot as the postman that helps you deliver your messages to your target group.
When you think about chatbots, you probably immediately think of a hyper-intelligent robot that understands exactly what someone is saying. This is not immediately the case with GroundControl. We give you the tools to make your chatbot as intelligent as you want. At the moment, we do not offer an implementation of AI. However, you can use your own intelligence to ensure that your chatbot becomes as smart as possible.
A chatbot is often in one or more of your channels. A channel can best be compared with a chat in WhatsApp. In principle, a participant can be in several channels at the same time. As soon as you send a script, it ends up in all channels that the chatbot is in.
If you are logged in to Mission Control, you can click on Channels on the left. Here you will find an overview of all channels that you manage. Click on one of your channels and then go to Manage chatbots.
Among other things, you can see in which channels your chatbots take part. Click on one of the chatbots, and you can edit a number of things, such as the name of the chatbot that is shown to the participants.
As soon as you create a new script, you will be asked which chatbot you want to link the new script to.
Below Choose the bot you can select a chatbot. If you want to change the chatbot with an existing script, go to Scripts and choose the script. Right click on the three vertical dots and select Edit script. Here you can delete the existing chatbot and add another chatbot.
